Art Direction / Styling - Campaign Photoshoot (Budnitz)

I worked with photographer Martin Reisch and Budnitz Bicycles to art direct and style their summer lookbook. Martin and I headed down to Burlington, VT to meet up with Paul Budnitz and get a feel for the bikes and company vibe. The brief was to capture the bikes like a high end fashion editorial meets luxury car commercial.

I was very inspired by Martin's Montreal metro photography and used his photo's as a reference when putting together the outfits. It was very important that it not come across as a fashion shoot, the bike is the star of the show so outfits needed to be handsome yet understated. I cast an amateur model who is a bike courier so that his interactions and poses with the bike would look and feel authentic. The photos created were also used by Budnitz across their social media platforms.
